Mexico Magic
A Retreat to Reconnect to our Natural Selves
Five – Six Days in the Heart of Mexico
Holding Space ~ Ceremony and Ritual ~ Sharing Stories ~ Healing
This is for mothers who have lost a child for any reason. It may be due to accidental death, illness, violence, drugs, suicide, miscarriage, abortion, or even abandonment.
In a Sacred Circle …
We each take turns listening and being heard.
We listen without judgment.
We learn to simply hold space for ourselves and each other.
We explore the stories of our loved ones and bring them into our lives in new ways.
6 Weeks with support, community and connection.

Week 1 - Sharing Our Stories
Your child was so much more than the story of how they died. You’ll give voice to your memories of who your child was, their likes, dislikes, hobbies and gifts.

Week 2 - The Language of Grief
We’ve been told how we should feel, think or act when it comes to illness or death of our child. This doesn’t have to be true for you. It’s time to redefine grief in your own way.

Week 3 - Stories of Strength
In a world that encourages emotional separation from our deceased child, it is easy to distance ourself from our own truths and strength. We’re truly not alone. What does your child know about you that would help you through your challenges?

Week 4 - Finding the Voice of the Deceased
We enter the realm of possibilities. If your child could speak to you, what would they say?

Week 5 - Stories of Strength Internalized
Enable the deceased child to provide confidence for you in meeting your challenges. Enlist the help of your child to build a safety net for future emotional bumps and bruises you might encounter going forward.

Week 6 - Bringing it all together
How do you want to live? Let your passion flow as you ease back into your life!
Next Group starts May 1st
- Online groups are only offered twice a year.
- Group size is kept small so that everyone has a chance to participate.
Your Spiritual Guide
Hi, I’m Ixchel Tucker and I’m a mother who experienced the loss of a child. In 2008 my son, Gabriel, was killed in Afghanistan when a roadside bomb exploded and hit the vehicle he was in.
Grieving rituals bring back practices of honoring our experience of loss in a sense of community. We hold space for each other, sharing stories of our loved ones and why their life was important and not forgotten.
Through shared experience we can again open our heart.
